DAILY BREATH PRACTICE

 

Our breaths have the power to recalibrate our minds and our bodies as well as bring coherence to our whole body system. 

MORNING PRACTICE: 5-15 min total

 

- Kapalabhati Breath (breath of fire). Instructions here.// Heating breath.

- Followed by Breath 5-5-5 ** This practice is in itself a meditation. 

Inhale for 5 secs., hold for 5 secs., exhale for 5 secs. 

NIGHT PRACTICE: 5-15 min total

 

- Sitali Pranayam (below). // Cooling breath.

- Followed by Breath 5-5-5 ** This practice is in itself a meditation.

Inhale for 5 secs., hold for 5 secs., exhale for 5 secs. 

BREATH OF 5-5-5

Calms and grounds the mind into the body. Activates our ability to anchor into Stillpoint Awareness. If possible practice for 10 min.

SITALI PRANAYAMA OR BREATH OF SWEET NECTAR

It is cooling by nature and it is said to ground the mind deeply into the body. It calms the nervous system and facilitates our ability to tune into the source of Vitality.

Practice 12 rounds of Sitali Pranayama.
