Part I: The Call to Heal | Releasing the Past

2024/25 Hoop: Fri Nov. 29th - Sun Dec 1st, 2024

Introduction

You will create your own mesa and work with it for self-empowerment, transformation, and helping others.

Through shamanic journey and visionary states of consciousness, you will explore the three worlds of the Andean cosmovision, sacred reciprocity with all that is, the core ingredients of ceremonial mastery, sacred sound and ritual language, healing and curanderismo, and the inner world of the ukhupacha.

What To Bring For Part I

Consecration Items:

  • Loose tobacco

  • Florida Water (Also known as Agua de Florida- You may purchase it here or make your own)

Basic Mesa items:

  • A Cloth to hold to energies of the Causal Realm [2’x2’ max size, 1’x1’ min size]

  • A Stone or Crystal to hold the energies of the Earth [roughly fist sized]

  • A Shell to hold the energies of the Moon

  • A Feather to hold the energies of Creator/Creatrix

  • An Electric Candle to hold the energies of the Sun. (You are welcome to bring a candle (non-scented) you will use in your home as well, but there are no open fires inside the Yurt, so we will be using electric candles while at the Yurt).

  • An object/ crystal/ stone/ vessel that you represents your essence and you hold as Most Sacred, to anchor the energies of Soul

Secondary Arte (sacred object):

  • In addition to the basic mesa items, please bring an object for your mesa that will become your Purun Illa (per-roon ee-ya), or ancestor piece. This piece can be a family heirloom, a stone, a crystal, or other object that inspires this connection.

Note  - some of you may already have these artes (items) in your home, some of you may not. Either way, allow the items to call you.

Pause, feel, fold inward and commune with your items, so as to awaken and in-tune them to your soul essence and your intention for having joined this PMT Foundational year long apprenticeship.

  • Spend time communing with your activated Mesa

  • Ukhupacha Breath

  • Continue to send healing energy to Qosqo (Lower abdomen centre of life-force energy), 'seeing'/feeling/restoring your body where the energetic cord was cut. Imagine that space in your body to be repaired, golden.

  • Use your meditation practice at your Mesa to repair your Popqo (Bubble like energy field)

  • Read materials. Get familiar with the quechua words and the lineage

Part II: The Balance of Power | Transforming The Present

2024/25 Hoop: Fri Jan 31 - Sun Feb 2, 2025

Introduction

An apprenticeship in the center direction of the mesa, traditional Peruvian perspectives on the flow of energy through the realms, focusing on the kaypacha, the middle world. Students will explore the kaypacha’s elemental matrix and magico-spiritual power, and learn about the sun and moon’s presence in the middle world, mapping the cosmos on Earth, and celestial death and rebirth.

What To Bring For Part II

Your Basic Mesa items + Purun Illa (as assembled on Weekend I):

  • A Cloth to hold to energies of the Causal Realm [2’x2’ max size, 1’x1’ min size]

  • A Stone or Crystal to hold the energies of the Earth [roughly fist sized]

  • A Shell to hold the energies of the Moon

  • A Feather to hold the energies of Creator/Creatrix

PLUS 3 MORE ARTES + 'COMPACTANDO NUESTRA ARTES',

  • Quilla Rumi ~ Moon stone, (doesn't have to be a moon stone), but it is a stone or arte that gathers the encanto (wild unharnessed healing energy) of the moon. It will sit on your Mesa between your shell (west) and your misarumi (centre).

  • Inti Rumi~ Sun stone. It is the stone or arte that gathers the encanto (wild unharnessed healing energy) of the Sun. It will sit on your Mesa between your candle (east) and your misarumi (centre).

  • Arte Maestra​~ Master healing stone or arte. It represents the ancient master healer and will come to sit between your feather (north) and your misarumi (centre).

  • Make sure you have done the "Compactando Nuestras Artes" exercise/ritual prior to our second weekend intensive. Bring it with you.

  • Practice 10-10-10 breath for next weekend

Practice In Between Weekends:

  • Spend time communing with your activated Mesa

  • Practice Kaypacha + Ukhupacha Breath

  • Practice Rainbow Bridge Activation, once a day for 7 days or once a week for 7 weeks

  • Practice 'Viaje con Sombra'

  • Continue to send healing energy to Popqo (capsule of energy that surrounds your body)

  • Do the further Activation of your Arte Maestra on the Wed. Night Link Up (guidance on your Heart of the Healer manual)

  • Read Kamasqa - the Living Power (last page on your insights manual_ + materials. Get familiar with the quechua words and the lineage

  • Raise the vibration of your Mesa by drumming, singing, using your rattle or any other musical instrument at your Mesa

  • Write your opening prayer ritual, include you own 7 virtues, mentors, places of origin.

Part III: The Condor’s Quest | Creating The Future

2024/25 Hoop: Fri April 11 - Sun April 13, 2025

Introduction

This initiation is a deep dive into the paqokuna, don Benito’s contribution to the PMT. The Andean Shaman/Priesthood mystical path, the lineage of the sacred mountains, and the five virtues of the mesa come alive in this intensive, including how to make a desapacho (earth offering). Participants will also journey to and experience the hanaqpacha, the upper world beyond the physical realm, work with the unseen world there and deepen their connection to their own spiritual resources.

What To Bring For Part III

Consecration Items:

  • Loose tobacco

  • Florida Water (Also known as Agua de Florida- You may purchase it here or make your own)

Your Mesa items:

  • A Cloth to hold to energies of the Causal Realm [2’x2’ max size, 1’x1’ min size]

  • Pachamama Stone or Crystal

  • Shell

  • Feather

  • Electric Candle

  • Misarumi

  • Purun Illa

  • Killa Rumi

  • Inti Rumi

  • Arte Maestra

PLUS,

  • Twelve (12) small (walnut size) stones, or crystals.

These will 'sit' as a circle around your Misarumi, so they need to be small enough or big enough to create the circle.

  • A written healing prayer onto paper that is meant to be offered in Ayni (sacred reciprocity) to the fire this weekend (can be brief- must be written down). Your prayers will be a part of a beautiful ceremonial Despacho to awaken and weave your relationship with the 5 guardians of Ayni. (more on that this weekend).

  • Drum or rattle

  • Dress in layers for outdoor processes and fire ceremony.

  • Hucha Michuy + Sami Michuy Breathwork

  • Practice creating and burning a personal Despacho. (New and Full Moons are fabulous!)

  • Make offerings to the the guardians of Ayni:  Tirakuna, Awlikuna, Malkikuna, Machula Awlanchis and Apukuna.

Part IV: The Hummingbird’s Ascent | Living the Mystery

2024/25 Hoop: Fri May 30 - Sun June 1, 2025

Introduction

Participants will be initiated into the healing arts of this tradition and learn about the lightning bolt of mystical illumination - the flow of kamasqa - the power of Creation. They will work with the elements, the forces of the universe, the body of Mother Earth, and sacred healing objects. In sacred reciprocity participants will create despachos to honor the sacred mountains, the elements, the unseen world, and prepare for a paqowachu, a sacred pilgrimage and vision quest.

  • Noqani Enqa Arte, will sit on the South East of your mesa. ‘I Am’ Embodiment Arte.

  • 5 secondary small artes (stones or crystals would be best) to be used in shamanic healings. One per direction and portal of healing. These are to comfortably fit into your left hand.

Earth/ Pachamama: stone, or any arte to harmonize the Body

Water/ Mamaquilla: rose quartz is ideal to harmonize the Heart

Air/ Wiracocha: an arte to harmonize the Spirit

Fire/ Inti: an arte that represents fire or transformation to you, to harmonize Mind

Ether/ K’uychi: an arte that represents Soul harmonization

Part V: The Shamanic Self

Serving the Earth

2024/25 Hoop: Fri Oct 3rd - Sun Oct 5th, 2025

Introduction

An experiential intensive into soul and spirit through ritual process, including the spiritual creation, activation and care of an apacheta (stone altar). Students will work with the power of dimensionality and time, the hampikamayoq breathing techniques, and be exposed to ancient hermetic wisdom. Participants will be further empowered by evoking both seen and unseen sources of cosmic awareness within their mesa, sacred objects and own being, and initiation into the lineage of this revered tradition.

PLUS THE FOLLOWING KHUYAS (STONES),

  • 1 medium stone (To become your Saywa/ Calicanto Stone)

  • 2 medium/ large stones that will become a part of the Apacheta we will create at Wild Earth (They will stay on the land)

  • 13 small/ medium stones, plus 1 flat stone, 1 cone-shaped or pointed stone (this stone serves as an 'antenna' that will 'stand' on the flat stone), and a 10" square cloth of your choice. These sacred tools are for you to create your own Apacheta in your home, backyard, or a place in Nature that calls to you. These stone allies will absorb and carry the healing medicine of our weekend together.

  • Bring one of the following: dark chocolate, rose petals or a few flowers (can be gathered from nature), rice, corn, or tobacco. Apachetas love to be fed! :)

  • Bring an offering to the land that resonates with your soul. (I personally love offering rose petals to the land. :)

  • Ceremonial clothing for Saturday night ritual: Imagine being invited to a beautiful gathering for Soul alignment and the full blossoming of your potential. You may wear white or anything that feels meaningful to you. It doesn’t need to be fancy—just something that resonates with you.
